I adore the spontaneity and energy of fly posters, street art and graffiti, and have chosen this as a vehicle to express my emotions in this piece. I’m fascinated by the impulsive nature, purity of expression and the dreamlike quality of theses multimedia collaborative collages and producing these from my own creative wellspring.
This piece was named after the text in one of the posters I produced and ripped up within the layers of the composition. The neon element was inspired by the decor in my local cinema. I will often photograph or mentally retain visual elements that catch my eye as I go about my day-to-day life, and fold these into my compositions.
