I adore the spontaneity and energy of fly posters, street art and graffiti, and have chosen this as a vehicle to express my emotions in this piece. I’m fascinated by the impulsive nature, purity of expression and the dreamlike quality of theses multimedia collaborative collages and producing these from my own creative wellspring.
The title stems from a short holiday I took before Christmas in 2022. During this spell I took a break from the internet, and found that my perception of time slowed to a crawl. Without the constant bombardment of information, I found myself contemplating my life deeply. It's often during these quieter moments that we have thoughts and ideas that can have a profound and lasting impact on our lives.
